The Purple Geranium (Geranium pratense), or Meadow Cranesbill, is resilient perennial native to Europe and Asia. Known for its finely cut foliage and violet-blue blooms, it thrives in poor soils and cold climates. Its flowers rotate slightly with the sun-aiding efficient seed dispersal-and can spread up to 60 cm, forming graceful, long-lasting groundcover.
